Jonny Hector was born 1964 in Malmö, Sweden. He has for many years been married to his Danish wife and been living in Elsinore, Denmark.
Sympatic Jonny became Grand Master in 1991. He is well known for his playing style which involves a lot of gambits, this provide him with a lot of spectacular wins. Furthermore he fights hard in each game an only draws when the kings are left alone on the board!

Vladimir Georgiev was born 1975 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Han has among other places lived in Macedonia, which he represents, found his way back to Sofia, where he lives today.
Vladko became Grand Master in 2000 but is probably most famous for being coach for Antoaneta Stefanova, when she became female World Champion in 2004. The week before he participates in Mind Games in Odense. In Copenhagen he will most likely feel at home since he during the tournament is going to stay at his sisters place.

The coach of the Danish national female team became International Master in 2007. Thorbjørn has performed a lot of impressive single results, a lot of these in Iceland, where he in 2010 sensationally had a sole lead in Reykjavik Open with 4/4.

Jacob has one IM-norm from Reykjavik Open 2011. During the summer of 2011 he passed 2400 in FIDE-ELO, and is thereby close to the IM-title. Now his FIDE-ELO is a lot lower, but at the Danish Championschips he played well.
